June 2007. A business conversation started to derail into gossiping about a person not present.
It was a moment I will never forget; it was the moment a sales director got all of my respect.
As she was the one saying to stop talking about the person, as he was not present.
And to share the information directly with him when he would be there; so that he could hear and understand what was stated and respond upon it if necessary.
