We have hundreds, perhaps thousands, of thoughts daily and it¹d be hard to imagine a thought that hasn¹t got an emotional response.
Most emotions and feelings are subconscious so a lot of data that could be useful goes unnoticed.
Challenge yourself and give yourself 60 seconds to write down as many feelings you can recall feeling over the last 24 hours. Repeat the same exercise after reading an extensive list of emotions on the web. If you¹re list was greater the second time it¹s likely that you haven¹t been very conscious of the way you have been feeling and the influence your emotions might have been having.
Now put an X next to feelings on your list you consider to be unproductive, and a Tick next to feelings you consider to be productive.
